Whiplash injuries in a historical perspective:
Lars graduated from AECC 1995 and got his Ph.D. in medicine 2007 from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Aarhus University (AU). In 2008 Lars completed his education with the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD) in Switzerland. He works as a Chiropractor in private practice in the Netherlands and Denmark and since 2011 he furthermore works as an associated professor at the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Aarhus University.
ACADEMIA
Participation, oral presentations and/or poster presentations in national and international scientific conferences in clinical biomechanics, traumatology, bone and joint research, traffic medicine and whiplash. Teaching includes pre- and postgraduate classes for medical students and doctors in forensic medicine, continuing education for chiropractors, physiotherapists, and doctors in traumatology, including whiplash/neck injury. Supervision and examination of a range of theses (including Ph.D.), invited reviewer for several international peer-reviewed journals, e.g. J Anatomy, J Transport and Health, Scientific Reports (Nature), Forensic Science, Medicine and Pathology (FSMP), and Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT).
